Since we have informed a few people of other tongue (than dutch duh) about this log it is only fair that we post some stuff in english as well!! so here goes..

We would like to invite anyone to post their invaluable tips/insights/ideas/suggestions as to where to go or what to do during our trip in South America!!

We have just spent a fantastic week in the galapagos and our now about to set sail (or shoe) towards Peru.. While were moving in that direction we will pay tribute to the great emerald lake of quilotoa before passing by baños, riobamba and cuenca. from there on we are a bit lost, where should we cross the border?? should we go via Loja or Vilcabamba.. or is it better to go via the coast crossing??

Anyway we would really like to read some of your experiences while crossing this beautiful country!! feel free to write usefull or 'just any-old-crap' info you want to share with us!!
